WHO WE ARE

Pastor Brent and Kathy Soileau  are both graduates from Rhema Bible Training College (RBTC) in Broken Arrow, OK.  RBTC was founded by Kenneth E. Hagin to teach the Body of Christ Faith.  Pastor Brent graduated in 1991, while Pastor Kathy graduated in 1992.  After graduation in 1992, they moved to the PA/NJ area and worked with World Harvest Christian Church (WHCC), in Pennsauken, NJ, until 2000.  Pastor Brent and Kathy were employed at WHCC as Youth Ministers, Elders, Bible School Dean, and Bible Teachers, along with Christian schoolteachers and many other areas within the church ministry.

In July of 2000, they returned to Florida, being directed by the Holy Spirit, and became Pastors of Abundant Life Christian Church of the Fernandina Beach /Yulee area.  Pastor Kathy also returned to Rhema in 2013-2014, with their children, to attend her third year at RBTC. 

 Pastor Brent and Kathy left Florida in 1988 to go to Rhema Bible Training College. In 1988, they were attending Voice of Joy Church in Orange Park, Florida.  The Pastors of Voice of Joy at that time in 1988 were Pastor Roger and Linda Pickering. 

In 2005, Pastor Roger and Linda became the Pastors of Abundant Life Church (ALC).  The founding Pastor of ALC was Pastor Brooks and his wife, which was under a different name.  Pastor Brooks and his wife retired from the pastorship in 2005 turning the pastorship over to Pastor Roger and Linda.
Then at the beginning of July 2021, Pastor Roger and Linda Pickering retired as Pastors of ALC, turning the pastorship over to Pastor Brent and Kathy Soileau.

Pastor Brent and Kathy took over the pastorship of ALC, along with pastoring Abundant Life Church in Fernandina/Yulee, Florida.  Pastor Brent and Kathy's desire is to operate both churches as one, having two locations.  It is their desire to take the Word of God, the Gospel of Faith, Hope, and Love, to the surrounding area, throughout Nassau and Duval Counties, and to the uttermost.

Pastor Brent and Kathy have five children, three are still home, and two with their own families. From the two older children, they have five grandchildren. 
 

Be filled with the Love of God and the Joy of the Lord in our daily lives as we reach out and touch the lost and dying, the hungry and the hurting of humanity.
